INSTALLATIONS

Conditions of Material Independence — Peredelkino DT, 2021. Curator A. Narinskaya. An exhibition dedicated to life in the writers' village of Peredelkino, built across nine rooms.

Wiretap

Interactive installation dedicated to KGB surveillance. A video about the daily life of "an ordinary Soviet writer" mixed with a real-time stream from that room.

Refuge

Ordinary wallpaper turns into macro footage when viewers sit in the hammock; a weight sensor triggers the change in video.

Death

A response to the final words of Boris Pasternak: "Give me the oxygen tent."

Envy

A dacha floating in the room, constructed from parts of the best-known Soviet writers' houses, suspended and moved by four motorized cables.
